After install, I attempted to launch the game. I received the message "The application has failed to start because binkw32.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." I uninstalled and installed 3 times with no difference. I meet all requirements for the game according to the test provided with the game. I found binkw32.dll sitting under another game when I did a search. Any help?

I'm having this exact same problem. I've updated my Direct X and video software thinking it would do the trick. I even found a "free binkw32.dll that I temporarily stuck in my windows/system directory. That didn't help either. I noticed that during the installation it said there had been an error during the install and to look at the log.txt created. This is what it gives me:

Is this related to the binkw32.dll????

You're dvd player is having problems reading files from the dvd.. have you checked on other computers if the same problems exists?
