I'm relly sorry you guys had to wait.
The problem is solved!
If you have the ATI Radeon 9600 or any other ATI Radeon that dosen't work do the following (I'm from Sweden so my windows interface is a bit diffrent but i hope it will do):
1. Press Start > Control Panel
2. Doubleclick System
3. Go to "Hardware"
4. I'm not relly sure what this is in english so i'll give you a link to a screenshot.

5. Find your ATI Radeon in the list.
6. Right click and press "Update software..." and follow the steps to make shure it gets installed.
And it's done! Restart your computer, start the game and you should see a animated char beside the New game and Load game buttons.
I hope this will work for you because it worked for me twice! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/typing.gif
Enjoy playing because this is a relly good game!

Thats fine and all, but the offical way to update your drivers is to navigate to ati.com and download their driverpack.
Im pretty sure your method just installed some WHQL (old but certified) driver.
