Hello I am having problems. My home made pedals only give me left rudder in game and in the hotas config the throttle isnt recognised but rudder gives full movement http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif It was ok until I went to 4.08. Both inputs (pedal and x52) check out when I used the game controller set up in control panel. Is it a reinstall??

I'm really not sure from your description. Are you sure it's not a matter of reassigning all the axes in controls?

Thanks for the reply. I have moved my motherboard into a new case and due to reorganising the rudder and joystick are now in different usb ports. It was ok until I installed 4.08 and a switcher http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif The hotas screen shows the joystick recognised as ID2 and peddals as ID1 this was the same as last time. However the throttle isnt recognised. It should be on ID2.

http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gifCheck wether the sensitivities settings for the axis are set to something else than all zeroes... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

You can't do that in game, neither with IL2sticks nor with JoyControl as they only show an axis once it's assigned.

Open up conf.ini, and check for a line under [rts_joystick] that contains all zeroes. Try and remove it, save conf.ini, then try in game assignment again...

Have had this once on my rig, could be a bug in either JoyControl or IL2-Sticks (Though the latter being the culprit is highly unlikely http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif)

So, if this is the case, please report back, and please report which (if any) of mentioned utils you use(d)...

Good Luck!

Thanks FT I found a line of zeros and that did the trick http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Now, which of the two tools do you use?
(As in, should I start testing/debugging, or should I signal Oleg_BS?)

I used joy control but i think the issue was how the patch was applied. Thanks for you help.

Rudders now sorted. Il-2 was detecting X axis not the Y that I needed so I disconected the offending pot.

Lol. You might've just let it assign the bad X-axis, next set it's sensitivities to all zeroes... then you could've assigned the Y with no problems...

But, your way was better in the long run!

Tip: Replace that pot, move it towards one pedal (The right foot one), mount that pedal on a hinge, driving the pot... you get Brakes!
I did that on my set, it works!
