this was posted in the general discussion forum in a thread about the water, and i thought id share it here, because it honestly made a huge difference for me, in terms of the water graphics.

turn \r_embm from 1 to 4, and notice the difference in the water. the water has many more ripples, and in my opinion, makes an already beautiful game even more gorgeous, at little to no performance cost.

If you crank that number up beyond 1 the shimmering effect around the weapon when being drawn against the backdrop of water gets worse and worse...
You can actually set that value up much higher than 4 you know...try 100 lol

ill have to check that out, i dont know if i have that bug, or i just didnt notice it. i know it can go higher, but i didnt notice anything above 4 (i only went to 5, lol)
