Anyway I was also thinking about a "Create-a-plane" feature. Like in sports games (Football,baseball,wrestling,etc.) You can go through a story type thing with this creation and improve its look and skills. I think it can also be done very easily with planes.

First: You get to choose a basic fuselage for the plane. Then have a sliders with the options of
1. Roll rate vs. Turn radius
2. Speed vs. Duribility
or something like that and for how much you move the slider the fuselage changes in shape slightly to match your slider choices. Then the rest can be done for wings, engine (propeller or jet), guns, rudder, and cockpit to create a plane specified to your liking body wise. Then comes paint. Have like 10+ designs to choose from (BA1 has 3 and BA2 has 3) then select colors and country insigna for that design to further make it your own plane.
Take a look at a "smackdown vs raw" game to see where I'm coming from with the shape and colors thing. And I think the shape should control the performence because in real life a ball is move manuverable than a block. (that is an analogy that fits my point). Then use it in the games story and also show it off your friends online.
