I have begun to wonder this because of the fact that every waking moment not spent working, is spent playing. I mean, i have a ton of games for my system, yet the only thing i do on the internet is yell tango down, or frag out. The other day on a conference call, i said to a client Roger that, and Negative. Most would say thats normal, but i said it deep and in the raven shield voice type.

Am i the only sick individual here? Anyone else who gets affected the same way i do?

We also on occasion call people terrorists when descibing some person or teacher we hate that looks to be part of some terrorist cell. ...but more seriously, A all out dislike/hatred for police officers is noticable apparent on many levels. My dads a cop...so its not pleasant to play these missions that start out with their being dead policemen everwhere, or dead around the spawn area, or listen to John Clark badmouth the police during mission briefings. [ideally if UBI added in these npc characters to be afraid or hiding behind cars...that would of been ok]

Apart from calling out mates "online names" rather than their names, in day to day stuff deliberately.. in games like paintball, you will find yourself using them without even thinking about it...

We eat Indian a lot, and after a few garlic Naans, there is the inevitable "GAS .. OUT!"

The headlook/peek stuff during business hours is probably a bit worse than my constant looking down and behind "check yer 6" action.

one time, after a long nite of rvs, the next morning a friend called to wake me up, i had about 4 hours of sleep after about 10 hours of playing and i picked up the phone and he goes "j-kaaaaaaaaaaaaaap" (onea my nicknames) and i go "is the green team still alive?" seriously, thats what i said... it was then i realized i played too much... my solution was to actually play more in hopes that i would be able to find the difference between reality and this video game...

*note... i was about 15th in the world in hours played before the ladder reset..... scary

For some reason I walk down hallways leaning left at an 86 degree angle and staying leaned all the way to the end...

I lean in real life now at my waist and for no reason... I'll be brushing my teeth...and it signals in!! LEAN LEFT... so I lean the top half of my body out of the door...

(once I also cought myself lying down crawling with my elbows like yer guy does in RVS, all the way to the fridge... then I crouched up and opened it before standing and taking the soda out)


I don't think it's subliminal messaging.... just my mind so used to repetetive actions.

I find myself saying "Move out!" and "Go go go! Move it!" when leaving a room. When I enter a room I say "Clear!" or "Area Secure!" But the best part is when I'm playing paintball, I've taken on the technique of kneeling then stnading really quickly (mostly done when playing with pistols in RvS) and it actually works really well against n00bs. Putting a y before everything i say in IM's is getting constantly worse. The more i play the more i do it but i have no intention to stop playing, so everyone else better get used to it.

My wife gets scared when I call my roommate his clan name and call myself my clan name. I do the go go go move it, roger, negative... But I like saying "what was that" or "that's odd?". Then when I am at work I visualize playing RVS in our offices, thinking they would make a great map. Then the crouch and peak thing.. Our cleanroom at work would be a great map. I know where each team would start and everything. 12 hour shifts and I have a lot of time to think..
