HI. I have a question. I have done 2 patrols and it doesn't look like my crew gain hardly any exp. Here is the question . If you have you timer above 32, likr they say and your crew is frozen so they don't get tired. does that also frezze their ability to get exp? if so that could be a hugh problem since they tire fast and its a lot of micro managing to keep ship going.

Your crew gains experience points only if your patrol was successfull and you gained personal renown.
Always try to reach your patrol grid and stay for 24 hours and try to sink some enemy ships.

Does a successful sinking of a ship in anyway add to experience? Seems silly if it doesn't. I mean how can running around the atlantic until your fuel runs out give you experience while sinking 100k shipping does not?

I've got even the feeling that giving specialization to officers and petty officers changes a little the way in wich they gain experience: they gain little when the ship does something not related with their work, and get more than average when the combat requires their skills.
