Dev Help Please

I have played through all maps three times in both player matches and ranked matches and still no Special Operations achievement. I know a fairly large number of other individuals with the same problem, most of which have downloaded the new map pack. Can someone at least tell me if this is a glitch or something I have done wrong? I played all the games just as normally as anyone else--no suicides or quits. Just short rounds with a few people. I was host the vast majority of the time. I'm not that hardcore about achievements or anything, but this is certainly frustrating since the expectation is that the achievement is going to be there. Can someone shed some REAL light on this rather than just questioning if I really played all the maps or if I was facing north-northwest when my grenade exploded 6.8 feet from the left railing of building B while another player was firing the FAMAS three degrees off horizontal in my general direction?
