Hi, Thinking of doing an upgrade on my PC and i'm a tad rusty on whats what! I want to use an Abit Fatal1ty mobo with an nforce 650 chipset which is SLI compliant but i want to use a radeon x1950 pro VGA instead of an nvidea equivelent. Now as i understand i will not be able to connect 2 VGA's later on in crossfire as the board supports Nvidea's SLI but this does'nt bother me, I just need to know if my VGA of choice will work with a mobo with an Nforce chipset! Cheers in advance.

I have an ABIT NM-F2 nview MB w/ a XT1900pro PCI xpress VGA & it runs great. I have 65watt 4600x2 & even with IL2-1946 running Black Death on a coutinuos loop this thing is so quiet you have to look at it to see if it is on.
W/AA4, trilinear, forest=3 water=2 & new clouds & perfect landscape it pulls 44 FPS avg & you can't even hear the VGA cooling fan.
Fwiw my 4400 toledo w/ a XT850 & 600watt PS sounds like a jet & heats the whole room up.
Nforce MB works fine w/ATI.
