though i must comment on the some of it. at the end of the chariot racing one he rode the horse through the gate that closed right behind him then the wheel rolled into the camera and hit the door. now thats bringing some of the Sot comedy back. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I registered for over the age of 17, but thanx for your help. I think I just have a connection down in my computer. I don't think you guys can help me anymore. Mabye its for the best, and I should just wait for the game to see what it has in store for us.
I'm getting the feeling, that I'm going to enjoy receiveing all of this news and screens and vids. more than I'll like playing the game if I keep watching all of this stuff.

Please keep in mind that the Dark Prince isn't the embodiment of OMG PURE EVIL MUHAHAHA. He is a manifestation of The Prince's less admirable personality traits. So he's a little more subtle and sophisticated - and hopefully more interesting and engaging as a result. If you're expecting a stereotypical, deep booming voice dripping with darkness and evil... well, that's not (exactly) who the Dark Prince is. And you're going to get a lot more than just "I hate you!" "No, I hate you more!" conversations. That would get boring very quickly. The Prince and Dark Prince have a relationship. It grows and evolves over the course of the game. Don't worry, though - there's plenty of nasty commentary and back-talking... The Dark Prince's voice should suit his personality. Just like The Prince he's multi-layered - he's deep. And that seems to what PoP fans wanted - deep, compelling characters. Am I rite? Anyway, you can decide for yourself once the game is out.

Amazing. Finally we get some up-to-date uneditted gameplay videos! The dark Prince's voice was excellent, and while the princes voice seems an awful lot higher tahn in WW, but the DPs voice sounded better than any of the voicing in WW put together. And the gameplay... when he smashed those obstacles and the enemy heard... it sure beat the AI in WW, you could be hanging on a ledge with your feet dangling infront of an enemy and they would looks straight through you! And the fight with that giant- so cool. I want to know what the DP was saying at the end of it now! The chariot was cool too, and while usually some kind of evil alter-ego wouldn't say 'hold your horses' with the DPs voice and personality it sounded just right.

But another month to wait... I CAN't TAKE IT NO MORE, WAAAHAAHAHA!

Well watching those videos surely shows the game is in Excellent SHAPE (Awesome Graphics even that it is PS2). I think still a bit of work is required in terms of sound but so Far it's looking awesome, The dark prince's voice is so gripping and immersive ... Well Done Ubi ... Go on then, one more month only to go and if you need more time we are more than happy to wait !!

i wasnt talking about the characters voices but what it was that they said.

i know very well that the princ is in TTT does not have the same voice as WW

ex: the dark prince saying "watch out" is a lot different compared to "on your knees dog."

I'm with you pop_sot. The thing is yuri sounds like a kid. Honestly just listen to him when he makes the straining sounds from acrobatics and when he says that heya in chariot races If any of you payed attention to the voicing in EARLY chariot videos yo uwill notice a more mature voice. I believe that was downes. Theres a clear distinction between that one and this we have now. Yuri doesn't cut it. hes a younger prince, but doesnt fall anywhere in the category for a seasoned warrior as the character is in POP3.

Seems like Ubi got slightly confused on the way when they chose voice actors. And it is also annoying they are not bringing in anything from WW. And your right about Yuri's voice during chariot scenes, he sounds too young, but besides that he sounds good.

The Dark Prince's voice is great, it's charming yet dark.

And they are bringing back things from WW, the Free Formed Fighting System for instance, and T2T won't be compleatly like Sands of Time, it will have it's dark parts too.

And Btw most fans liked SoT better then WW, thats why T2T will most likely be more SoTish

But don't trash Yuri just because you don't like it and he's not annihalating the game because his voice sounds a little young

Saying that most fans like Sands of Time better then Warrior Within is a little unfair. I know plenty did, but I wouldn't go as far as saying most. Probably about half-and-half.

As for saying it's not fair not to put Warrior Within stuff in the game, it was unfair to leave so much Sands of Time stuff out of the last game but they did that anyway. And, as the last person said, there will be Warrior Within stuff in there: fighting system, blood, Kaileena and so on. It's just they're trying to reconcile fans who were annoyed by the sudden change of pace from Sands to Warrior.

Personally, whilst I do believe that Yuri sounds a little young, I really, really like his voice for this game and I'm very glad that he has come back. And Dark Prince is pretty good as well: I really like the idea of him making snide, evil comments on the prince's actions and advising him as to what to do.

I completely agree with princeofyo. I think the voices are fine actually. For example, the Dark Prince. The Dark Prince is all of the prince's negative aspects, but does that mean he is evil? No...not necessarily. His voice doesnt have to sound pure evil if he's not pure evil. Besides, there have been plenty of evil beings who have had voices that didnt sound very evil at all. Personally, i think it's too early to judge the voices since we've only heard a couple lines. But i like the voices so far, and i think it's perfect. The Dark Prince sounds a little dark, as well as cunning, and i like that.

It still doesnt work though. I already saw the videos on gamespot, but when i tried again an hour later, it wouldnt work. It said i wasnt blah blah blah. It just wouldnt let me.

No not necceserely. WW has an equally big fan base as SOT.
As for WW being left out, unfortunatley yes, that is the case. This game was supposed to be a compromise for both SOT and WW fans. As a WW fans I am not looking forward to blood, gore violence. These aspects do not concern me. What I liked about WW was the good action music and a good ambient music. It's like Persian Rock. The good voice acting. Downes has a longer carrier than Yuri thus he has more experience and he is an actor of much higher caliber than Yuri. There is no point in arguing with this fact. The diversity of environments, time, space, enemies, the boss fights, character development, element of surprise...

Bottom line. It's not fair to the fans that this game only takes sands of time and takes almost nothing from WW. Those who think that we like WW cause of violence and revealing women have an extremely narrowed view. I for one could REALLY do without those in the game

And Razor-Ace, the T2T music isn't much different from WW, it sounds like a mixture between WW and SoT.

I liked WW and SoT equally...both had it's good and bad features. I care more about storyline, length, graphics, and just how awesome it is. As I stated above the music for T2T sounds actiony yet has Persian feeling in it. And I like that a lot...and I'm sure your PoP experiance won't be ruined because you don't like someone's voice...

yuri is not a bad actor but when it comes to prince of persia he sucks ***(not including sot but t2t in general).i've herad girls that sound more man than him.the dark prince on the other hand, it's not that i want him totally evil but he sounds way to normal if you know what i mean.

as adam said we can give our opinion and im just stating what may not be some of the best stuff in TTT. do you think i got worried about WW when i saw how dark it was and thinking it wouldnt be a good game. but it was which prooved me wrong and i am expecting TTT to do the exact same thing except even better.

also seeing some of those in game trailers in reality is kinda like playing the game. we are just watching someone else play it. and they wont be changing it too much now thats its so close to coming out

but for the last time dont get me wrong. i absolutley love prince of persia and cant wait for the new one but in liking something so much, well it can turn you into kind of a critic.

I for one loved the voice acting. Rick Miller has good dialogue and provides the graspy good voice. It reminds me of Gray Fox from the original Metal Gear. Mysterious voice, I just love it.
Even thought Yuri seems more childlike than Downes, I think Yuri provides the voice we've all been waiting for. It's really good, I just love it.

And this is 16+ rated game, you should add more edge to the dark prince. Is he supposed to scare me or intimidate me in a way, because I was expecting just the thing hearing he is all bad-*** and everything.
And the other thing that annoys me, is when the prince fights he lets out this soft voice that he had from sot...7+ years passed since that time, there is no friggin way he could still sound like that! And ignoring what he has been in WW is just plain pathetic and is pissing me off.

I like the acting voice for both Princes. I didn't think that the dark Prince would sound very evil because he doesn't want the Prince to know his goal (which is most likely to take over Babylon). To gain the Princes trust he has to be charming, and he sounds charming.

I also like how he tells the prince what to do...make him seem like the DP's ^$#%&...

I'm sure the Prince will also tell the Dark Prince what to do.

And even if you don't like the voices, it would make the game terrible. No one liked all the glitchs in WW and people still played it and loved it

I ddon't see what you are all complaining about. Okay maybe next to the ww coice it makes the WW prince sounds like hes just tryed a cigarette and smoked it the wrong way round. Well maybe they could have a patch to fix the voices and bugs in WW then the TTT voices would make sense.

yuri is not a bad actor but when it comes to prince of persiaTTT he sucks ***, he sounds to much like a child.i've herad girls that sound more man than him.the dark prince on the other hand, it's not that i want him totally evil but he sounds way to normal if you know what i mean.it seem like his voice was made by a computer

Not going to be happening. You've heard a few of his lines, and a few only. Perhaps you're unhappy with the voice, and there's nothing Ubi can do about it, but they were obviously happy with the choice they made and felt it represented the Dark Prince as /they/ saw fit to create him. Despite what you may have thought, they're not making the Dark Prince to your personal specifications. And as for the Prince's? It was Yuri's in the Babylon trailer, and that sounded more than fine. There's little reason for you to complain, though you're more than entitled to do so. It merely achieves nothing. Just 30 minutes ago I was playing WW. It's kind of sad if you think about it. The first time when I saw the video, I begun to laugh, and I'm sure that I wasn't supose to do that.

Besides, they did a great job with the VA in SOT and WW so why wouldnââ‚¬™t they be able to do it a third time?!?...so therefore I am confident that the VA in T2T will be great too!!!

Anyways, the best would be to reserve our final judgments until the game comes out but I don't think it's quite fair to criticize upon their Acting abilities already.

I think they never should have changed his voice in the first place they should have just continued with the same VA.

Personally, I am happy they brought back Yuri as the Prince, because of the fact that he was the ââ‚¬Å“firstââ‚¬Â Prince for me and therefore will always remain the true voice of the Prince.

When you heard the "nose-video" (the trailer with The Prince looking down on a guard dragging a woman. Then jumping down and killing him) I thought it was very "Prince-like" and I loved it. It was great, the Dark Prince's dragging voice was good too.

I know how those dissapointed with the voices feel. I don't agree with them, but it's the same kind of thing that I felt when I heard the voices (and the atmosphere change) for Warrior Within.

It's not fair for those who do like the new changes just to rip those who don't to pieces. Everyone has different tastes and these cannot be changed through shouting at each other. In any case, we should listen to the mods and continue discussing the videos rather then the voice acting.

I am really liking the looks of those new acrobatic moves. It was a bit annoying that we only got one or two new ones last time for the loss of the rope-swinging (not that this was a huge loss). By the looks of things, there's all sorts of new stuff to consider when climbing around those roof-tops.

Man I wish I could do that stuff.
