Impressive tonnage, no? I snuck into Scapa Flow when I knew there was going to be a Revenge class BB. After slipping past the tugboat guarding the western entrance, I also came across an Auxilliary Cruiser there, as well as the BB. After plugging four fish into the battleship and one into the cruiser (sinking both), I made my way out of the Flow. Here's the really mind-boggling part: within hours of escaping the escorts in the Flow, I came across a battlegroup consisting of an Illustrious, two Aux. Cruisers, and assorted destroyers and escorts. I was in a perfect position -- I mean perfect. I sat at periscope depth with my engines stopped until the battlegroup steamed right past me -- the outlying destroyers were actually behind me. I was in a perfect firing position, less than 2000 meters from the CV. I opened all four front tubes and fired one torpedo at each cruiser and two at the Illustrious. Three hits, one on each cruiser adn one on the carrier, and a bong-torp. The cruisers sunk almost instantly. Meanwhile, while the destroyers were busy trying to figure out what the hell just happened, I spun my boat around and let the damaged CV have it with my stern tube. The fish ran clean and detonated. She sank rather quickly after that. The DDs were busy flashing their spot lights everywhere and pinging furiously, but I managed to slip away through a hole in their search patterns -- completely unscathed, for a whopping 92,550 tons! Now, is that not a story to tell the folks at the bar, or not?

I think I should have gotten a personal greeting card from der Fuhrer, or something, for doing so much damage to the Royal Navy. I can imagine they were not pleased to lose both a BB and a fleet carrier on the same day.

Der Fuhrer thus creamed his pants.
