No, I like it too, but the online game fail, all poeple can't host game, and I don't know why, i tried search, but i found nothing... If someone have a the solution, please post it!...

Yeah, I love this game and can't wait for it to be released.

I just wish that they would give some kind of indication as to what time of year it is. Also if they could allow the plus or minus to to be continuous as long as the left mouse button is held down instead of having to click it over and over and over and over again.

Having serfs to continue to the next building project nearby that needs help and also to automatically repair any nearby building that needs it.

In the Prologue map a hiden village center is mentioned. It would be a great help if they move over the map location and a way to click the previous message so it can be found if you don't notice where it was to begin with.

I agree that this is a fun game to paly. but i dont think it is fair to the settlers fans out there to call it settlers... That is just miss leading.

I have never been more disappointed in a game in my 25 years of gaming. The Settlers series is one of the best series of games I have ever played. I love every single game, and I am not exaggerating when I say that I drooled when I heard this game was coming out.

I am still drooling, but it is not from joy any longer.. it from the aneurysm this game caused...
This has nothing what so ever to do with the settlers series.. this is Age of Warcraft Mythology 3.765.

To be fair, the game looks decent, the game play is decent too, even if it is just a copy of other games, but this is not a Settlers game.

Yeah ok but if u look at most game series they never keep exactly the same throughout and if they did then what would the point in making a new game be. If they were gonna make a game that was just like the other settlers games then they would have just made an expansion pack for them. And i think that the graphic would nearly make up for it anyway, I mean who wants the cartoony **** of Settlers 3 + 4 anyway?

Well lets see, i wouldent mind dropping the cartoon like graphics for new spangly 3D ones (hell i was soo looking foward to this based on the graphics), but i would quite like to keep that which made the game, the micromanagment.
WillMorkaI did you ever PLAY another settlers game as aposed to looking at it, its not the graphics we are mad as hell at. its the P.O.S. gameplay that plays one hell of a lot like AoE with snazzy graphics.

Hey mate where talking a "totally different type" of game change here, about the difference between a mouse and an elephant. A real dissapointment. Its that difference that has angered settlers purists like myself!

Yes I have played the other games, I played the original Settlers on the Amiga, And i played Settlers 2 + 3 on the PC, and 1 and 2 were really good, they were classics, but 3 and from what ive read 4 changed the gameplay anyway,
And im only tryin to stand up for this game, give it a chance!. I have also ordered Stronghold 2 and that looks amazing by the way.
This game is a massive advancement for the settlers series in graphics just like settlers 3 was from S2, maybe next game they make theyll listen to everyone in the forums saying how disappointed they are and theyll go back to a gameplay like 1 + 2 you never know....

I care not a whit for the graphics, graphics do not a great game make, they are an added bonus to many games, but they can not make up for a bad game.
Did they change the game play in each of the earlier games? Well of course they did. They made changes that made the game a little bit better(IMHO), they tweaked the game play to make a better game.. This is not tweaked game play, this is a totally different game.

Again the game is not horrible. I have not had any issues with bugs, the game play is decent and your beloved graphics are okay too, but it is not a Settlers game.. gone are all the little idiosyncrasies that make this series great. Why go so far away from the bread and butter of the Settlers series to create something that has already been done? No other game out there had the same style of play as Settlers did... now it is the same as many, many other games.
