How often do invites go out?

I know, I know, I just started an invite thread, but this ISN'T a "How long do I have to wait?!?!?!/!1" thread, so don't lock it.

When the first invites went out, I heard rumors of it being a daily occurance. Every day or so 500 people would be allowed in.

I'm not seeing any "I got in!!!!1!1!!!!!" posts though, so I'm wondering if this really is the case... So how often ARE invites going out? If it's a weekly thing, then only 500 people at a time (as Wendy456 has said they'll be) will take a LONG time to get everyone into the game.

There is currently no hard core schedule set. We have heard that sometime next week another set of invites are due to go out, but we weren't given an exact date or time.

So basically it's going to take just under five months (April of next year) to get all 9500 people signed up on this board into Live unless they speed things up a bit?

I don't want to miss ALL of Prologue. There's STORY in there, damnit!

I'm not sure how you came to your conclusion, however, here is a direct quote from the Uru Live website's FAQ.

We will grant access to the Uru Live Prologue in batches as we add server clusters (also called "shards") to test. We hope to let up to 8,000 people into the Prologue over the first few weeks and to ramp up to tens of thousands by the end of the Prologue. Each week we will let more people in until all Uru Live applicants are let in.

Simple.

As you state here (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=400102&f=6571034&m=8571046), each batch of exploders (sic) will be limited to 500 people at a time.

Five hundred people, a batch a week, 9500 people on this board, carry the one...

Nineteen weeks to get just those signed onto this board into the game. That's not counting the ones who are signed up for Live but not this new board.

Nineteen weeks carries us into April.

Very simple math. Unless your previous statement was grossly incorrect.

Moleculor, most likely they're starting out slow to work out the beginning problems and order more servers. After the first week or two of ramping up, they will hopefully be able to start putting in people daily. So that's 16 days.
Of course that 16 days starts coming after the next few batches of rampups. We'll see when that happens, heh. And it will probably stop somewhere for a few days when they reach another level of people that puts so much strain on the servers that they have to rethink something then push the numbers up again.
