Stuck at the Zoo! about 30% *SPOILERS*

Have just pulled on the handle to extend the ladder,
Have just entered the cave and killed of the beetles, but am now stuck and can not open any of the doors, have seen a crack in one of the walls (inside the cage), but cannot get to it, looks like have to get the woman to get through the crack, but where do I send her in?? Have gone a little further down, and that door is sealed with the switch on the other die of the door! Any help is gratful,

There's a switch hanging from the ceiling next to the symbol on the wall, but it's to high to jump to. You have to climb up to the raised part of the room and wall run to the symbol and jump from there to the switch.
