Game saves not available

I recently transferred all of my stuff from my Elite to my 360 s and even did the licence transfer. I loaded up COJ : BiB and it won't let me continue my save game on chapter VIII. I can replay from I - VII but it informs me that i'll lose my save from chapter VIII. In the Story Mode menu Continue is greyed out but i can select Chapters or New Game. Can anyone give me any suggestions as to what could be the problem?

you can find some save of games in the internet, such as for this game (only if you really want to done your story mode)
