Encountered Japanese Submarine Tonight While On Patrol

I was on patrol earlier tonight heading north up the Makassar Strait when I encountered a Japanese sub coming up behind me. It was doing about 8 knots and heading NE. I went to periscope depth and from 1,200 yards fired a single Mark XIV, 50 seconds later the torpedo struck home leaving the Japanese submarine burning amidship and settling in the water. I even got credit for the kill, amazing. I'm not sure if this was because of TMO or RSRD Phase III which I have installed. But I like it.

Yes and no.

Hull is, Conning tower was modded to more closely resemble a japanese sub (Nautilus42 i think did that).


I redid some of the zones in it so it would sink. Hit it in the right spot, and your in for a nice fireworks show.


There are also german uboats that will appear when they did historically, but you wont see them unless your patrolling out of fremantle, in TMO i didn't script in any north of the java sea.


Neither will shoot torpedos (stock issue), but neither do you want to get into a surface battle with them either.
