No more Bratz dolls! (http://www.walletpop.com/article/_a/bbdp/mga-ordered-to-stop-selling-bratz-dolls/267525)
Thank god. I've despised these things ever since I first saw them a few years ago. I'm guessing that the name Trampz, *****z, and ****z were already taken when they filed for the trademark on this.

On the one hand I've always hated these bratz dolls for encouraging young girls to be shallow *****s who wear way too much make-up. On the other hand, this seems pretty underhanded of mattel and a lot of people who work for MGA (based in the los angeles area) will no doubt be losing their jobs.
Moral gray area here.
I also have a sneaking suspicion that these dolls will be back, possibly under the mattel banner.

Actually don't have any kids. I just never liked how it encouraged young girls to dress like little *****s. When my wife was working in the children's clothing section for Sears about a year ago, she would tell me about some of the clothes they were making for young girls nowadays. I'm not a prude by any means, but there's no way that 5-6 year old girls should be dressing like they're going to a college frat party.
@ Genghis - if the guy who created the Bratz concept did so while an employee of Mattel, then that means that it is considered Mattel's intellectual property. It's not really that uncommon - remember when David Letterman left NBC, there was a huge brouhaha over whether his "Top 10 lists" and other bits were considered NBC intellectual property.
You're right, though - Mattel will get the rights to the Bratz collection, and they'll probably start selling them. As much as I'd love to see these little tramp dolls go bye-bye, there's too much $$$ for Mattel to simply let it all go to waste.

Dude this is lame, I've never owned a doll, but Barbies Malibu ***** DD breasted shallowness should be banned too for all that is supposedly sacred to little girls.

If Barbie were real, she would be a small C at best....
If Barbie's measurements were extrapolated to that of an average woman, she would lack the necessary 17-22% body fat for menstruation, and her measurements would be 39-21-33 in., which is unattainable (source (http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m2294/is_11-12_53/ai_n16083986)).

The law suite had nothing to do with the dolls looking like cheap *****s but them being the intellectual property of Matel.

Why are there still tons of Bratz commercials on TV? I take it that Mattel is now selling them. Anyone know?

39 is the measurement of her breasts. That would mean that on her small frame, which is probably 30-32 for normal small framed women, her bra size is 39!!!!! That would mean that her size IRL is F's or FF's. I'm sure that would mean that she can't walk upward.....
