Afaik there is no walkthrough for the expansion 1 disc, at least i did not managed to find one.

It is very important to hurry east and do the orange bandit quest to receive lots of troops following Dario. Also put around east wall as many cannons from pilgrim , i had around 8 cannons deployed. When the horseman come just hang around the east gate near the 2 cannon towers + 8 Pilgrim cannons + ur troops u should have no problem wiping them

Use Pilgrim to keep on laying explosives till the tower is destroyed and they join you, don't forget to get him back out of range each time he places one, the enemy only follow a short way. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
As for the reward they mention, it's a daft message if I remember right. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

Just done that level that's what I wanted to know ,I don't know why a lot of people don't Like HOK because when I start a level I keep hooked with the PC, and before I finish the levels I won't quit, sometimes i will be there for hours.

Did you play the beta version of ROE ,I liked it but I think there is something missing in it,don't know what it is,but still i like it ,I like all the settlers games.

That's human nature for you, you can't please everyone with a game, and it gets harder each time you bring out another in a series.
You either like a game or you don't, nobodys opinion can make you like a game, so make up your own mind.

Hmmm i think this is a time consuming method, waiting for the bomb to recharge.I just charged the tower with all 3 heroes and used Dario protect ability making the purple bandits to run away.Till they are back the tower was at ~ 33% health and i just keep atacking the tower. The bandits don't do much damage so u just hack the tower ignoring the mobs.
This way u can have time to lay down more cannons near the east gate.

Whatever works for you is fine, I usually kill off the attacking horsemen first so I have all the time in the world to destroy the tower, I just like using Pilgrims explosives, they're fun. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
btw, I see you joined, welcome. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks just the same but the BTog way worked just swell,I though that level was heavy but the one after where you have to defend theley from four attacks I am always failing the last attack they Just keep coming.

any tips? I'm building a lot of towers but they help at first but later when the guys with spears arrives they put them down in seconds.

You only have to protect the fortress, build the towers round it as close as you can, they never attack the other side of the bridge so you can build any production buildings there that you need to keep safe, stonemasons etc, and a market to save the workers from having to go all the way to the castle.
don't waste resources on swordsmen or spearmen, you want archers, as many as you have room for.
ring the alarm bell when the enemy gets too close, that way they get fired at by the citizens inside buildings, keep some serfs handy to repair towers and the fortress inbetween attacks, after a certain point some riflemen will come to support you, use them and the archers to hold off the enemy till the last wave is over, so long as the fortress is ok you'll win. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
