fortunes pack install for pc

all I seem to get when starting the exe file is:

PVENDOR:
PGUID:

@Windows XP Service Pack 3 (2600) Non IE/Netscape 11.0

anyone got the faintest idea what it means pls? Cos its got me stumped.
