a driving game with REAListic crashes that has street cars?

Only in those crapy redneck type nascar simulations do the crashes look someone what real.

I know it would take the fun out it real quick but where else could I recreat crashing a dodge viper going +200mph into head on trafic over and over and over.... and... over... again.

Yes... I'am THAT demented.

Burnout 2 had some excellent crashes- they actually have a mode where you try to create the biggest crashes with different vehicles. but you have to go to cosole land for that.

Carmageddon for the MAC was pretty realistic as far as damage causing you problems driving. And that was back in 97. They've gotta have a newer version out, though I haven't seen one.

racing games.......

realistic and racing games dont go together unless its some redneck nascar racing

ps driving an actual car and pretending to be playing a realistic racing game is a bad thing, just ask my 85 plymouth acclaim.....totaled

hummm I just want a game which witht he possiblity to have realstic crashes.

Call me morrribe if you wish but causing high speed accidents is rather run and good to laugh at... as long as no one is hurt because brain matter on pavement tends to kill the laughs.

and...

HAHAHA nice job with ur car dude. I might go around a turn at 50-60 with a sign posted "20" but I don't think i'am stupid enough to wreck my car.

One of the need for speed games was pretty good on the crash stats. As far as damage model... you could still hit a wall at 170 and not "die" though.

last time I played a need for speed game (porshe unleashed I think) I couldnt get the shifting right for my car, and ended up going 120mph into a wall head on.

which rendered my paint job chipped a little on the back(and not the front for some very disturbing reason)

that's highly strange enceenoman.

yeah played that game to and when they said "dammage model" I wasn't just thinking paint chips, but whatever.

A lot better then microsoft simulator's version of an airplane crash.

A few weird white lines and in big bold letters "CRASH"

Heha. In Test Drive, If you dare touch the highway barrier your screen would crack up and it was game over. Then there was Skate or Die. VERY fun, especially with my joystick. You'd start it up and hear a loud and proud, "SKATE...OR DIE!!!!"

Wow, this thread started with so many prejudice comments it's not even funny. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

First of all, the derogatory term "redneck" is basically making fun of farmers who's neck gets sunburned from working outdoors so much. So basically, you're putting down the people who feed America. Secondly, the whole incest thing is a stereotype that basically applies to many groups in the USA, mainly those that are poor and uneducated. In fact, not that this says something about the entire race, a lot of Black Americans have problems with incest, but no one can make a stereotype or a joke about that, then all of a sudden it'll be politically incorrect. ooohhh.

I think if we're going to be prejudice, might as well be prejudice without, well, prejudice. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif If jokes are allowed for one race, it should be allowed for all races. Maybe one day, I'll watch tv, and see ads that mock black or spanish people. Oh man, that will be hilarious. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif They mock oriental and white people all the time, why not include the other races before they feel left out. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Actually, I think "redneck" came as an insult in the 1800's to the whites who couldn't afford slaves to work outside. Therefore, their necks got red, showing that THEY had to work outside.

Memories...

I played Carmageddon for HOURS back in 97. My friend owned a PC that was powerful enough to run it so a bunch of us would sit for hours in a darkened room trying to kill all the zombies and desperately trying to steal a car. One time we got the yellow dumpster, possibly the toughest vehicle on the track. What a joy to drive it was.

What a cool game...everybody should own a copy.

The driving physics and crash engine was really good. They added to the gameplay a heck of a lot. One fun game.
