U find HERE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZ6Aely9YrQ) my explanations why this could have something to do with a Cloverfield sequel.
In the trailer u see the epicenter down the street were the dust comes from and the skyscraper collapse.
so the crack in the ground should come from there and should be later then the collapsing buildings.
BUT the crack starts earlier and moves towards the epicenter.
Imo it could be some kind of monter (cloverfield) or this isnt logical^^

*Cloverfield was a film about a monster attacking New York in that Blair Witch handy camera style in 2008, which was very succesfull regarding the costs of only 25.000.00$.

Alright, let me say this.
Cloverfield was a very well-designed, very well-thought out, and had some nice acting in it with a very logical ending. I enjoyed the movie, and I hope there is a sequel.
Okay, now that I've said that, let me say that if this is a Cloverfield sequel, I will really think twice about getting this game. Really, stop and think about how horrible that would be.

Bro just to let you know this is a game about you(T3h player) against mother nature, specifically earthquakes/aftershocks. And of course all the loonies in Chicago. All the while trying to find your girlfriend who is mad at you for leaving the toilet seat up too much. So sorry kid this isn't shadows, no giant monsters here.
