is there a special template for nose art?

I use photoshop for my skins and convert them with BRIGHT. I've made some nose art for my planes but i'm not sure how to format it.

What I suggest you do is take some of the nose art files in the sim.. Use them as guides.. turn them into PSD files.. when you want to use them save them as bmp files and run them through bright.

Be sure to index them to 512 colours. I use Adaptive, but use which ever works best for you.

thanks

looks like its needs to be 256x512...and it will ignore that particular shade of grey.

also, it appears the top half of the rectangle (256 x 256) is reserved for the left side, while the bottom half is reserved for the right side of the plane.

You could have nose are on both sides of the plane if you wanted to.

what works for me is using a 1024x1024 template to draw on, and then i resize it in intervals 1024, 800, 400, 256....so i don't lose too many pixels. i gets a little blurry but its better than going from 1024 and resizing straight to 256.

Once i have my pic in 256x256 format...then i just add another 256 to the bottom and its ready to go into Bright.

thanks again for the tips
