Neither UBI.com nor its representatives (Polecat -a beast more commonly called 'skunk' here in the USA) have said that The Patch would fix anything at all in that free PC Demo we fret about.
The Patch knows it, too! It won't even install into a PC unless the full game retail files are present. The Demo is completely ignored.
Demo downloaders who help UBI debug will have no grounds for complaint when they see no benefit: UBI has been honest; silent, but never lied.
We are donating our time and effort helping them but have only our stupidity to blame...UBI hasn't deceived by deed (only by spirit).
If you hear otherwise please post it up!
