AC2 Freeze Issue

Allo all

Just Arrived in Venice and I'm getting graphical freezes. Is this a faulty disk issue, or an indication I should stop playing it for eight hours on end?

Before anybody asks, the disk has no scratches and as far as I know my console should be handling it fine.
