Saw this when released, yet on May 30th on HBO, you really need to watch "Taking Chance" with Kevin Bacon.
An EXCELLENT war film.....

I saw this when it premiered on HBO last year I think. It's a "good" movie on a gut-wrenching subject matter. While I appreciated the need to "play it straight", with this story it never moved me the way the articles it's based on did. Still it's worth watching.

It was shown in the Finnish television recently, and I just watched it from the channel's website where it's still available (only for a couple more hours now).
Pretty good. The perspective was new (for me) and interesting. The sentimentality did not go over the top from my European point of view. It was moving, at times at least.

You guys really need to watch this......If you have HBO, use "on demand", it is a free show, and very touching to the extreme. It's an aspect of war that all need to view.
