1) Never EVER EVER, make a cutscene that cannot be interrupted. Take each developer in your team and beat him round the head with a gold baseball bat, once for EACH cutscene that cannot be interrupted.

Case in point: Right at the beginning of PoP you have to fight the black lady. She will kick your **** a fair few times till you sort the tactic out. You cannot save, thus unless you can sit down and complete that first bit in one go you have to do the whole beginning again. and again. and again. Ok this cutscene is getting old now. and again. and again. and again. Where is that developer? and again. and again. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. and again.

I know you can fast forward if you are retrying, BUT if you cannot complete a section in one sitting...

This is REALLY such a simple rule, and EVERY developer on this planet knows it, so WHY for crissake why have I had to sit through that god**** opening cutscene again and again.

2) More Save points.
Please try and think these out. I am cursing the second dahaka chase at the moment. If I stop playing PoP I have to go back a long way when next I play. Get the idea? I have been trying this darned bit for DAYS. And I am getting totally bored, and frustrated. The reason I am doing it now is NOT because I'm enjoying it, i blew 100 bucks on this and I've got this far so I've got to go on. Repeat.. I am NOT enjoying this.

3) Try and reduce the fail-retry cycle to sane levels.
Again on the second dahaka fight, every tiny mistake is a retry, every time you cant see where to go next... is a retry. Every miskey... is a retry. It is a long slow tedious slog, it goes so fast that you do not know where to go next a lot of the time. You spend a second to look around, you retry. You cant see where to go? YOu try something, you guess wrong... you retry. God I'm sick of this bit.

Handy tips summary: Don't p*** off your players

Do you mean you start a completely new game every time Shadee kills you? Don't you get a "Retry" or "Quit" screen when that happens? You don't have to save; when you choose retry you should start back right after that guy fell from the mast and the prince dropped to a lower level of the ship.

Use my tactics.

I used a trainer from the begining of the end. I played this game for the story not its pathetic play.
