Sure no problem basically here are the steps:

1) Place an Ordnance Minefield object near to where you want your minefield. if you then right click on this and select Properties the settings are as follows:

What you need to do here is set a density, for example I set it as 400 mines/sq. km which gives a really dense field.Ok leave the rest as it is for the time being. (these settings put the mines near the surface if you want them deeper you need to change the min height and height fields)

2) Now right click on the minefield object again and select add waypoint. Now this is the important bit as the mines will appear around the waypoints not the minefield object so place the waypoints with this in mind. There is one more step you have to do here for each waypoint which is to right click on it and select Properties. Now each waypoint has its own properties windows that looks like this:

Here you need to set the Radius (KM) to whatever you want and you wll see that when you do this a circle will appear around the waypoint. This circle is the area in which you will have the mines.

You can set a fairly large radius but then you need to adjust the density setting as above or else you will have too few mines. Thats pretty much it save the file test and adjust the settings as necessary. One final point is if you leave the "Random Area Radius" setting in the minefield property window at 0 all your mines will be laid out in a set pattern but if you change this setting to match your waypoint radius setting they will spread out randomly.

Heres what it should look like in the editor, I have only placed one waypoint here but as I mentioned above you can put as many as you want:

I hope thats all clear but if not feel free to ask any more questions.
