Animus Virtual Training

This may sound stupid...but how do you access it? I've paused the game during single player but I don't have that option there or anywhere else. Do you have to complete a certain amount of the single player to get the virtual training or something?

you get it in memory sequence 2

And in sequence 2 the whole in and outs of VR will be shown and you even have to play a fight match.
