Is microsoft paying Ubisoft a great amount of money, just to make the anticipated SVM mode only on the 360, to try and make gamers buy xbox 360, thus leading to more sales for the 360?

It seems like a lil scheme to me, by microsoft. Pay Ubisoft a huge amount of money to exclude the PC, Xbox, PS2 etc. (Reason to leave out xbox is to have all the xbox gamers transfer to 360, so M$ can make more money) in order to have to get a 360 for the huge gaming experience?

Because too many people would be too disapointed, its less disapointing and less extreme if they make us suffer not as bad and only put SvM on the 360 so that those desperatos can make some more money.

SvS is a mode nobody asked for, but I'm sure Ubi will tout it as easier for players to pickup who have a background in FPS-style games.

It's basically catering to the wishes of those who've never really played the game. They found out what aspects were most difficult when they tried to play SvM, and built a mode that they hope these players can get into.

I'm not liking it for the sheer fact that it will pull in a lot of children. At it's height, I had 130 people in my banlist in PT. Childish namecalling, poor sportsmanship; I just didn't tolerate it on my server. A bigger fanbase gives Ubi more money, but this will really divide the community from the novice players and the vets.

As long as Microsoft keeps craking out game like halo and halo 2, you'll see more children in those games then in the more thinking oriented SvM games of SCCT and hopefully SCDA.

Companies being paid to support one console over the other? Impossible!

And just so you people don't think I'm biased. I fully understand that a 12 year old can show more sportsmanship than a 36 year old. Age does not equate to maturity. Still, the group being pulled in are a pissy bunch. Gloat when they kill, b*tch when they die.

I see your point, I try not to sound biased but its the truth, in general, the younger the person is, the more likely they are to show immaturity.

I can see that not having SvM in the PC version is something to be angry at, but do we have any idea what SvS is gonna be like? It is somewhat sloppier game design to have only one class. Still, it's theoretically possible that SvS could end up being better than SvM.
