I've been pouring through all my books and can't find anything either.

I asked a friend of the family who flew F4's during the war and he never heard of any photo-recon Wildcats.But he also said that just because he flew them,doesn't mean that makes him an expert on them as well.Other than that,all I've been able to dig up is one sentence saying that they did indeed have photo-recon versions of the Cat,no pic http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

i don't really know anything about the photo recon wildcat, but i would like to comment on the wing roundels: they look a little horizontally stretched. hope you find what you're looking for, some of that info is hard to come by.
