Was he placed in the naughty chair or has he left us?

Likely a bit of both.
I've had a number of PM discussions with him about the climate on the forums. Wouldn't be surprised if he moved on without a word. I don't believe he goes in for the drama queen approach.

Leitmotiv is so nice. even that I really like from military aviation I usually don't was the type to buy aviation books and have much interess for them, but a day he show me some sites and some books about Japanese planes that I was looking for. since that I don't stop to buy books anymore. already have 7 books and are always expanding my colection. if wasn't for you Leitmotiv, I never would be able to learn so much more about aviation. so I will have infindable gratitude for you.
so please if you are seeing this topic come back my man, we need you here, seriosly. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
and would say the same for all the missing members.

I suspect there are plenty of people here who Lietmotiv has done a lot for. Each time I use an MS FFB2 and 6dof I have great reason to thank him. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif
We've been trading quips via email for some years now. Whenever I quote him to someone I always start with, my friend in America...

really, I don't know wat say.
but tell us please, wat damm happen with you, letting us so, so whorried? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif
ok leitmotiv, I will tell the truth for the folks here...
in fact Dux captured him and aprisionate it. and has plans to try make it his whife like he saied. but leitmotiv has infindable phisical and mental habilits (psi powers). Dux aprisionate him in a cell with so hard materials that where't find anyhere in the universe.
seeing that, I look for raaaid. I say him: "raaaid, we need rescue leitmotiv, we need your inventions for that!".
it was secret, but raaaid manage to discovery where Dux had take leitmotiv with one his secret inventions, and it was not here, it was in another dimension. so with another one we manage to enter in contact with leitmotiv. the cell has a window, and because Dux's love's aviation, it have a big airfield there. raaaid devolped a new version of the B5N for rescue leitmotiv. it has capability of far exceed the speed of ligth, travel in space logic, time and in another dimensions. and it's litetally invisible, both phisically and to the radars. it's a normal 3 seat B5N (raaaid don't let me have a picture of it, sorry guys).
the defensive armamment is a mega laser gun. during the trials we manage to destroy some galaxys with it. so if Dux had send figthers to pursuit us on the escape, we would have something very good to defend ourselfs. anyway, we are invisible. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif
them, we enter in the other dimension with our super B5N. raaaid was the pilot and I was the naviator/observe. Dux has a a beautiful fortress. with one of the infindable feature's of the plane Raaaid manage to track and locate the cell of leitmotiv. we used a special bomb also devolped by raaaid that would make the wall fall (yeah, the wall with the more harder materials that where't find anywhere in the universe) without putting any risk to enjury leitmotiv. to it hit the target perfectly. we land. leitmotiv run to the plane (he could see it) and jump in. we take off rigth away and escape with no problem.
but the problem is Megile, think that leitmotiv even manage to see him. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/bigtears.gif
and Dux will pronunciate his words, but will denied everything, I know. he must so, so, SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO mad by now that I even know if gonna say anything. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/halo.gif
that's really wat happen.
but Megile need to be rescued also! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

I am buried under paperwork, and, in addition, have a big move underway. The game computer has been packed for two months (mainly to eliminate the temptation to fiddle with it, which, as we all know, takes up a lot of time). My models are being packed or jettisoned. Forums take up too much time, too. Busy men and men having a good run with the ladies (as someone we all know is having) have little time for forums. I expect everybody will keep up the good work. Ubi is a shovel-to-the-neck trench raid kinda place. I expect the mayhem will proceed nicely until I can return and clear my section of the trench line. It's good to see everyone is still alive and kicking. Leit, SeaFire, Arthur, Mitch, Airmail...how you all doing?
I've had a look through a few posts and I notice a distinct lack of Low Flyer and Uther. Earlier on in the year Low Flyer was threatening to invade France on bicycle. I know he often visits Normandy for the D-Day commemorations, so I'm wondering if he's combined that with his cycle holiday. So, Low Flyer, if you're reading this while holed up in some mademoiselle's boudoir drop us a line and let us know how you're getting on...oh, and post some photos too.
Leit is quite right. I did, foolishly, get involved in some home improvements. But, as we all know, every silver lining has a cloud. So although I did improve my cage slightly I also managed to put my back out massively. My Doctor tells me that the technical term is sciatica. I had never heard of it before, and my first thought was that it sounded a bit venereal. However, my Doc assures me it's a trapped or compressed nerve near the base of the spine. I will add that I have absolutely nothing good to say about this condition and I don't recommend it to anyone.
I also see the model aircraft/figure thread has slipped a bit. I'll need to see what photos I can dig up for it.
Got a Doc's appointment in a couple of hours so got to get a move on, see you all later http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

BTW, the back pain machine looks quite interesting. I've to go back and see my Doc in a month. I'll mention it to him and see what he says.
The standard advice used to be sleep on the floor, but now they say there's no real benefit in that.

I've had surgeons trying to get me to have my spine carved for ten years. The snag is that for most people surgery only makes the condition worse. I can get rid of the pain by taking Advil, but I hate taking drugs. I'd be interested to see what your doc thinks about the machine. I have had none of the really bad lower back pain since I started using the Back2Life, but, who knows, in a week I could be worse. We'll see.

A. Smedleymeister nailed it---this was an informal meeting of the German Great General Staff in the Schwarzkatz Cabaret on 27 Dec 1928 right before the Chief of Staff (General Leitmotiv) took on the Potsdam Lifeguards Regiment (equine members included) single-handed in an orgy which lasted six days leading to his dismissal for failing to maintain the Weimar Era standard for debauchery established when Generals LF, Foxy, and Dux exhausted the entire 1st Cavalry Division (equine members included) and Brandenburg Military District Corps Troops in a ten-day debauch which resulted in 698 casualties (79 equine) and brought down the government.

C'mon, the second from the left ain't no bloke. It's Susan Boyle (http://images.google.nl/images?hl=nl&q=susan%20boyle&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi) ,2nd best of 'Britain's got talent'.
It's a picture of her younger years, attractive though. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif
