What are you talking about?

1. tell me what is the point of this thread? (we have lots of threads about factions...)

2. They said 5th faction will be NEW to heroes of might and magic series... so definately NOT Dungeon... so your point is?

I'm 100% sure that Dungeon along with Sylvan will return in expansions. I've said that and explained why too many times already.

You people don't need to worry about it.

But Black Dragons aren't gonna be in it. Since this time around, Dragons will be bosses. Who knows? There might be a Black Dragon boss in the initial release of the game too.

They were asked about Sylvan being available and have stated that the factions not included in this game "will" be in an expansion. Especially the Sylvan/Dungeon factions (who have a very deep story linking to this time period if you read the history of Ashan.)

But thats a tale for another time, for now, the 5th faction is The Sanctum, an asian inspired faction that uses spirits, mermaids/snake/shark/frog men and a chinease dragon as their faction forces.
They were initally leaked a while ago though there was some denial, though in the current Michael development page, you can clearly see the snake-samurai guy.

1. the point of this thread is - Dungeon is not Dungeon without Black Dragons. Release factions have nothing to do with that.

2. I never saw any announcement that said how the unrevealed faction would be new as in "original".

1. The point is: That liolik85 played previous heroes and he noticed/liked that dungeon had black dragons that were usually the most powerful unit with most HP and antimagic resiliance... and now is sad and disappointed that Dungeon is not returning in release (i will be very surprised if it does as 5th faction). (no offense liolik85)

However i am strong supporter of dragons because i like them too much http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif and do agree that dungeon had black dragon as tier7 creature... and would want to see black dragon if Dungeon would return in 5th,6th,7th,8th,9th faction. We don’t know how bosses will work maybe will be just super dragons (with name or sth) so black dragon are still an option for Dungeon.

Times and faction change with every new game... and so does creatures. Just look creatures alignment (not just tier7) and you will see that. My opinion is that i do want playable dragons in game specially champion ones... but if it is some other creature it won’t be so bad either... if i would make the game, Dragons would be everywhere http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I am not 100% of course but I believe, like I said, that 5th faction will not be dungeon, sylvan or academy but a new one.

In second Q&A video Julien Pirou hinted that some factions cannot exist without dragons in their lineup and that black dragon isn't out of the question as champion unit. What I understood from this is that dungeon with black dragon will be back, probably in expansion (because naga is as good as confirmed as last faction for vanilla). Very good news indeed!

Ubi themselves "confrimed" fifth faction.. just read everything on website..personally i remember at least 3 times when i saw word "Naga" in descriptions of other units.
