So reading between the lines that means that the co-op collection has been delayed. Probably didn't make certification. I suppose the gun map pack is a good way to lessen the dissappointment. Pity im not a fan of the SP portion of GRAW 2.

Paladin, I wouldn't say that. If they were notified that the Map pack didn't pass certification, they couldn't just whip up a weapons pack this fast....

Good news for those that actually like the single player part of the game. It's like watching a movie from Michael Bay: it has explosions. Hopefully the SP in the next GR has more replay value.

That's cool, but why only for single player? no one plays singleplayer anymore. It's freakin boring. Give us some weapons for multiplayer.

It says "to be used in the single player quick mode", so I assume its that mode only.

If they are weapons from around the world, they'll probably put the SA-80, Dragonuv, probably that stupid T-95(i hate that gun), maybe we acually get a TAVOR(Israely assault rifle), and I don't know what else they'd add.

SP weapons were much more limited than MP...At least some of the new weapons are probably already in MP.

The SA80 is a POS and is already being phased out. I highly doubt American SF will be using it in 2014.

Well, they are, it is in the game. So is the dragunov. SA-80 is the L85, and the dragunov is the SVD....

This weekend i was so bored i played singleplayer on GRAW 2, but I did it in FPV. So much better like that. Don't have to see scott mitchell hunched over like a turtle when he runs. Animation on Mitchell is a joke in GRAW 1 and 2. I miss the old school singleplayer where the gameplay was the exact same as multiplayer. Characters moved just like they did in multiplayer.

Lets hope the french never make a multiplayer game, they'll have everyone running around like a bunch of hunchbacks, slow moving turtles.

DLC are usually released in seperate phases. This pack was probably finished a while ago and maybe planned for release in 1-2 months, but it's been brought forward to cover for the mess that the release of the co-op collection has been.

We were getting all these videos and forum activity from the developers then it all stops. The DLC is delayed and this gun pack is damage control.

Now dont get me wrong, i firmly blame MS for this and i admire UBI for releasing the gun pack for free; but i think the SP for GRAW 2 sucks and doing it with new guns doesnt appeal to me and im still <span class="ev_code_RED">*EDIT*</span> that we might have to wait 2-3 more weeks for the maps.

Well for people picking up GRAW 2 pre owned and therefore new to the game this is very good news indeed as SP weapons were fairly limited, however I am sure most of us here have all aced the SP game and to be totally honest although very pretty and interesting the first couple of times round there is very little to want you to come back for more.

However thanks for the update, any news is good news but how about some form of official announcement about the delay to the co-op pack. even if it is the end of the month, give us something to work with Ubi...

I'm spending my money on something worth while. I'm out the door to pick up my copy of Call of Duty 4! I tried to wait for these maps, but it's a little too late and AA:TS was a joke.

I know COD4 maybe a little faster gameplay, but I'm interested in the hardcore mode in multiplayer. Plus I keep reading that the singleplayer is cinematic and very clinching!

Oh yeah, when I read the title thread I was very happy, but when I learned it was for SP, I said to myself 'What the <span class="ev_code_RED">*EDIT*</span> are these guys thinking?' The game is still alive based on the multiplayer aspect. That's the real reason why the gun pack is free, it's because no one in their right mind would buy it. Because they'll be the same guns in multiplayer and who would pay for 'content' that you pretty much already have. Oh YEAH that's right we already have paid for content that we already had. Like 3 times. HAHAHA

Hey, aren't we letting bukowski113 off the hook getting bogged down in the whole "weapons in SP only" thing ? It does sound like we're being tossed a bone to keep us quiet. Ubi should be hassling Microsoft to get them to complete the certification process (or whatever the correct terminology is) , or telling us who to hassle and we'll do it. Also , didn't someone ask him specifically for the list of weapons ?

Try something like this with your girl(or guy). Just stay away for a night without saying a word. Bring a present the next day, still without saying a damn thing, and expect her to be... gratefull? Sure.

You're missing my point regarding the importance of(or lack of) communication. If those flowers still doesn't include any explanation then yeah she might actually piss on them. Flowers in such a case are pretty worthless.

MeanMF don't call us winny littlesh*ts, I'm pretty sure Ubisoft said the pack would come out late October to early Novemeber and here we are and we get a gun pack for SP for a game that barly still has a multiplayer

well I gave Ubisoft enough loyality and time but I'm done I'm going out to get COD4 tonight and are most likely going to trade in GRAW2 next week becasue the multiplayer is dying and will soon be dead, sucks becasue the GR francise always used to be my favorite until they realesed GRAW but I stood by it and all I get is DLC packs that I pay for a become free a week later and all this talk but no content

I can understand the delay in certification for the map pack, but Ubi comes out and announces that there is this new weapon pack for SP. Where is it? I don't play SP much, but I would again with the new guns until the map pack comes out. Where are the guns??

I hate to keep asking, but where are the new guns??? When will they be up on the marketplace? I was willing to accept them as a holdover until the new maps come out, but I am quickly getting tired of waiting for Ubi and MS to get their act together. I am a very big fan of GR and have been since the original on PC. While the series has definitely gotten far away from the original stealth based tactics, it is still enjoyable enough to keep throwing money at the series. Not again. Whenever the next one comes out, I will be waiting a long time before picking it up, if I do at all.

hchawk19, all content goes through a certification process to make sure it is suitable to go onto the marketplace. Ubisoft does not control this process, so don't get mad at them...

I'm with Paladin on this one. I don't think it's good enough for Ubi to say the maps / weapons will be released soon. They should be able to tell us when Microsoft expect to have the certification process completed . Isn't someone in Ubi following this up on a daily / weekly basis ?

Mr.Hanky, if you read my comment again, I blame both Ubi and MS for the delays and problems surrounding this thread. I understand that once Ubi turns in the content to MS it is a wait and see game, but they do share blame.

Yeah it has to pass a certification but it has to be submitted to do that. I am still waiting for them to submit the Call of Juarez glitched achievements patch to fix them. I work in the industry so I know how the certification works but Ubi is SLOW to do anything. We are soon going to be in the 3rd week of November....which is far from end of Oct. early Nov.

no kidding - just for the heck of it i took out my COD4 DVD put in my GRAW2 last night. It was a ghost town - i'm sure that's not what Ghost in Ghost Recon was supposed to mean. 10 minutes of waiting and i got into a team sharpshooter (almost called it team deathmatch there lol) - and the guy left the UAV option on http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

I figure i'm not going to do this again for a while - no maps, no matches, why bother? I get more action for my time on COD4. Sorry guys i love this GR2 series but it feels dead.

well, i dont think there is a problem with playing single player, i mean its better than mulit player and fun, you get your on team and stuff, but i completed it and i still carry on playing single player, well... i think, but i play multi player now, cause i know what to do every mission, need help just ask!
