Anyone found a repair kit in Sherman mission?

I looked alll over the map for one, in all the vehicles and stationary guns. I want to repair that Sherman track and take it around dammit!@!@#*# http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Also I tried removing the debris where he loses the track but its a scripted event it seems.. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Edit: I couldn't get the repair kit in the other mission to work (or the mine). I didn't try use the Engineer tho, maybe he's the only one that can use it?

i just looked into the 0.mi file of the mission and i found a repairkit, it's in a germantank.. an STUG 6 G but i dont know where you can find it.

done.. i modified the mission so that the controllable sherman on the marketplace has a repairkit in its inventory ! i can send the mission to everyone who wants it .. just post your e-mail here...

last time I got lucky (too bad you can't save)

I could run around with the scout car, really
funny. and the HT too.
the way to do this, is to diable the gun, without destrying the vehicle. the crew abandons it and the it's yours to take.

One tiger had it's turret damaged, and I could drive around with it.

If you manage to kil the puma and atg there, you can disable the train too. although, I havn't found a way to kill the armoured locomotive....

a nice new feature is armour brittlenes when shot at whith a lot of shells. you'll notice that shot impacts and after a while it get another texture(cracks etc)
that way I could disable both tigers with a the pak gun.


can anyone mod it, so that you can play as germans?

anyone found out how to kill the train? in the previuosgame, you could do it with heavy explosives... so mod them in :-) (Dynamite + satchel packs)

Remember to open your game.pak file with win zip not win rar. =] and the map .p1 file or whatever is how you add or remove items from inventories. (I happened to get lucky and added repair boxes to two units which ended up being the tank in need of repair and the commander of the squad go figure eh?)

Do you have problems to install the mod ?

Well just read the Readme.txt within the both Winrar-files...
and i forgot to mansion that you can only use one mod of the two.. but in both is the repairkit in the sherman !

it's easy.. on the left side of the tab is this small command-window... on top of it you see three dirffent buttons the second should contain actions like "lay-mines" and "repair" click on it when you choose the soldier who has the repairkit in his inventory.. he will automaticly
equip it and you can scroll over the tank you want to repair and the cursor will trun into a wrench.. then just click !

it's also possible to double click on the repairkit in the inventory of a soldier and then click on the tank you want to repair !

Or you have the repairkit in a tank with a crew inside... than you choose the wrench from the command-.window on the downleft and a crew-member will disembark, take the repairkit automaticly from the tank-inventory and repair the damages at the tank, after that he will drop the repairkit into the tank-inventory again and get back into it !

I tried some tricks, like right-click moves the repair kit into your hands. I havn't noticed the small command tabs on the left side. I have too look again....
got them, those them grey tabs....

nice to see you now can unhitch - hitch stuff.

is it possible to mod to activate the save option? I like to try stuff out, and I just hate it too have to do it all over again.

Currently, I had captured one puma, 2 tigers, a wirblewind, 2 232, a HT, a the US scout car and several shermans...
the abiblity to save would really be nice.
