There is no news about the trading system of the game.I am a bit unhappy about some stuff choosen from Heroes 3 rather than 4 but this is definiately a place where Heroes 3 shines.
-IMO the trading system should allow to send resources to all players let it be friend or enemy. But ıt should have a delay of turn based on the distance between the nearest castles of players.
-Market place should be again a bit more expensive ı think. It was just easy to trade resources and build a castle.but in heroes 3 that didnt happen so easily if you were going to build a dragon cave you should have a sulphur mine.
Lastly tradind with enemies is essential because it allows bribery.Or you can supply a weak player so that he is strong enough or can cause heavy causalities to the strongest player in the game.Alternatives goes so on and is very essential in keeping the game balance and makes the game more diplomatic.
Also ı hope there is a way of sending artifacts also.

in heroes 3 you have the resource silo so you're saying the exact opposite, in H4 you must have a sulfur mine if you are to buy black dragons.

I dont know how it happens in your games but its damm hard to build a dragon cave in impossible given the fact that whether or not you have resource silo.Still it takes a lot of time and roughly 20 days to build a dragon cave(ı dont remember the exact amount).
But in heroes 4 you can trade a bit from that a bit from this and you have a cloud temple. In heroes 3 you had some tiny resource bit where you had to capture some mines just because of that bit,you couldnt afforded it.You cant just build a resource silo for every resource and again some castle like necropolis generated wood and ore instead of mercury.
The thing is I can recall the occasion where ı hadnt the main needed resource for a high level building but just traded the others for it and builded them.So I still insist on my ideas.

Heroes IV is exactly the same deal as H3... there is that thing called the "Marketplace" where you can trade resources. you trade a bit from that and a bit from that so you could buy a Dragon Cave, or a mage guild... and BTW, H4 buildings were far more expensive than H3's.

ı must disagree with you since the ratios to trade were absoluetly very different. In heroes 3 you had to have 20 wood/ore or10 rare resource to event "start" trading and thats a big difference. Also the rare resource need was nearly the same (cloud temple and dragon cave etc). There is also the fact that sometimes some side resources of the buildings like 3 crystal beside 20 sulphur(just an example) forced you to take a crystal mine because you coulnt affor to trade your rare resource for it and sometimes you couldnt. Also to but them was way too expensive not like in heroes 4.In heroes 4 I could pratically build my castle with wood ore and my main resource and some resource captures on my way.By the way ı usually play in impossible level in both games if it helps to evaluation.
