Under sound properties, do you have 5.1 or 6.1 checked? Does it play in full surrond when you play a MP3 in Windows?

At SPEAKERS SETTINGS it's configured to 5.1 with my audigy 2 zs + creative megaworks setup. CMSS is disabled hence no "surround" during mp3.

Prince of Persia doesn't have any problems with the 5.1 with CMSS disabled too.

From what I've read, this game is 2d. I haven't been able to put it up on my surround system because I'm home for the holidays, and I left my surround system back at my apt, so I'm on 2 desktop speakers...

i can confirm this game is surround...at least on my nForce2's Soundstorm

(ABIT NF7-S rev2.0 here)
