Unique Cable for Rocksmith

Is the cable for the game will be sell separatly? I would like to connect a second guitard to play with my wife http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Also, it will be possible to have a longer cable?
I'm playing on a 75 inch TV and I can keep seeing the blinked notes when I close my eyes

These were on the shelf at my local Best Buy when I picked up my copy of the game yesterday.

They were labeled "XBOX 360" but that is not accurate, they are universal FYI.
