I read about flickering cursor on several other forums and so far no improvement. Tried all suggestions but with no effect. I would survive playing the game just with that mistake but upon starting first game I noticed another problem.
All terrain looks like it is created from stripes of different shades of green (sorry, can't provide screenshot). Tried all graphical settings with no change either. Again, that would not be a big problem for me. I love Heroes so much that I just can't wait to play.
I also noticed another thing. The flickering cursor seems to be connected with the Conflux overlay. Once, when I restarted the game, the main menu loaded only with "main menu" options and it took some time the computer to load the rest. During this time, the cursor was perfectly fine.
The funniest thing of all is that beta was working perfectly...
I am running (or at least trying) the game on my laptop. I read somewhere, that laptops are not supported. I wonder how many people only use desktops in these days. After "successful" launch of "From Dust" I am getting slightly angry with Ubisoft.
I know one thing or two about computer so I know that I did everything in my power (and the laptop's power) to solve any issues I might have, but I will have to wait for some kind of an update. I have a Steam version of the game so I just hope that patches will be released on both retail and Steam versions of the game as soon as possible.
