Wanting to play online from the UBI tab ?

I want to get together and set up a game with my friends online. While in the game you can do this in two ways. 1) LAN option and 2) UBI ... My question is when I click the UBI option and I sign in and set up a game, it asks about a server... do I need to have a built in server base in my computer to run the online game for everone ? Or is UBI the server and I just put in a code and everyone else puts in the same code.... Im pretty pathetic about these things so any help would be apreciated.

Welcome in our forums gsc1967,

The multiplayer game does not require any additional software. The Ubi online server is just a "relay" to share the game you create from your own machine. Anyone with the same SH3 game + mods should be able to join.

Thank you Minoos ! So where it asks for server... that is where you would put your sig/tag name in so each player in his own system puts in the same thing and then we all get on together ?

If you manage to log-in on the UBI.com server, there should be a list of available games, select create on the bottom-left and the next screen should ask for a server name i.e. the name of the game your are setting-up.
