okay im done with my splinter cell map and i need some point outs on where i messed up or what i should add.

MAP : Splinter Cell

P.S. I kinda rushed the map when i was almost finished with it..

i checked out the map, and i think it looks really good. i love the roof ventilation system that you can crouch through. the only visual issue i found was that a lot of the platforms used for the roof and elsewhere are uneven, making the roof look jagged, but this is just a small issue and im being picky. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif

the other issues are with spawns and game modes. you need to add A LOT more spawns for each team. the team that is outside should have some spawns on the ground around the outside of the building, and the team inside needs to have a bunch more spwans spread out throughout the building.

i have an idea that could work well for the game mode you spoke of in your other thread. it will allow you to incorporate Uprising and CTD. if you would like to hear the idea, just reply and ill write it out.

Be just when you rate them don't rate it based on who wins or loses or if you gelous when you rate it, rate it off of its' balanced sides, play, Performance and appearance

My best maps that I have that have had or have a four star rating and are worth checking out are War Zone, War Torn, Hotel Paradise, Devastationville, La Bone Mine and Ghost Town

And if you want to check out a good D Day Where the americans has a equal chance try mine.

Last is i hate it but it seems if i play my best my maps get a bad rating if i win so if you find my maps getting lower than a four it is probley because someone lost or has green envy.

First off, i'd suggest you make two versions of the map. one with the improvements i said in my earlier post. that one will be for conventional gameplay. the second version would be set up the way im going to describe below.

i cant remember which spawns you have where so ill give a key:
UFLL = inside team
APR = outside team
Alpha cap point = inside building
Bravo and Charley = outside

Ok, you said you wanted the UFLL to have a leader to protect and escort. the way to do this is through Uprising. Have two capture points outside (B and C) by the APR spawns. have the 3rd point(A) inside the building. you will have the UFLL spwan points all on one side of the building, and have "A" cap point on the opposite side of the building.

what this set up does is give the effect of a VIP escort. "B" and "C" will be captured by the APR. then they will begin to move into the building after "A". the UFLL will try to escort their leader from their spawn to "A". when they have "A" their leader is safe because he can respawn if killed. if "A" is captured by the APR, the enemy leader will be vulnerable. if he is killed, the APR will win the match. So, the UFLL win by holding the point and protecting their leader until time runs out (kind of like he's being extracted). the APR win by capturing "A" and killing the enemy VIP.

of course for this to work, you would have to explain the rules to all the players.
