View Full Version : odd X45 issue

Not a huge issue - but an odd and annoying one.

Whenever I unplug the X45 from the USB port (by accident or design) the computer will not recognize it once I plug it back in.

I go to profile editor and launcher and get the message that I must have a saitek product plugged in (even though I get that 'connection beep' that windows makes when you plug in a new item)

What I end up doing is just reinstalling the software and all is well again...take a few minutes...no biggie.

Just wondering if anyone has encountered this...

Thanks as always...

Mine used to do this occassionally (not all the time). I found that if I pulled out the joystick then rebooted before plugging back in it would work.

Some incidents with Vista suggest you might also try making sure there you clear the joystick profile before unplugging it.
