So actually giving U Boats a try now and enjoying them.Started new career with 23rd flotilla in Sept 1941, ordered to transit from Brest to Greece, meaning have to run the strait of girbraltor which is actually tough, patrols everywhere.
Anyway, looking for intel on when the best times/dates and flotillas to play for action in the north atlantic.
Much action in the med in sept 1941?
Anyone who has a list of flotillas and their assignments etc would be great.

In the OM mod, fdu Norway from sept 41 offers nice juicy convoys. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Help! I've been following the guide and have created a MODS folder within the Silent Hunter 4 file on my c drive but I can't find it! Any help would be appreciated.

If you're running XP and you created JSGME in the SH4 root directory, your mods folder should be located at:
ProgramFiles/Ubisoft/SilentHunter4/MODS folder.
I copied and pasted both the JSGME and the MODS folder to my Desktop. I also created a folder there called 'mods downloads'. This allows me to download mods to that folder, and then select the 'Extract Here' option. I then drag and drop the extracted file into my MODS folder next to it on my Desktop. The mod then appears in the left pane of JSGME.

I'm running Vista. Does Vista make the mod installation stuff up?

You do NOT have to make a folder for the JSGME, it will make its own, and that is where you direct the MOD's too,.
Re read the MOD install guide by Dave......I made the same mistake a few times before I got it right, also, make sure that you tell JSGME to take a "snapshot" of the game BEFORE you MOD it.
