I think they have something along those lines in skirmish mode where when it's over you ended up not losing any troops because it was like practice.

which means you can upgrade them and use them again in a skirmish game for singleplayer,right?

your single player battalion IS ur "custamised battlion" that your asking about....


and about the skirmish part.. i think you do get your own seperate battlion to practise with
