I've been reading a lot of posts of people excited about the new game, but I have also been reading posts by people dreading it. What reason is there for hating the new SC game?

Daylight missions. "Bad" multi player. The general feel for people not liking SC: C already is the fact that DA was such a let-down.
Truth is that we don't have much info on SC: C, so I personally won't make a judgment yet. But based on the poor performance of Ubi Shanghai in DA, many people don't think it's worth it to buy SC: C.

I'ts not neccesarily "day light missions"and multiplayer....Its that,(no matter wat anyone says) its not splintercell...its another hitman meets assassin creed...thats why we dread this game....
As for multiplayer, we only heard about crowds of A.i being involve...so we cant judge that just yet,,but weve seen gameplay of the single player so we can...!!!!!!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

It's not the familiar light/dark gameplay you mean.

Hardly. All we've seen are the same screens, videos, and the same interviews and all of them are 'first looks' about an early, buggy version that features one small level. Get an opinion on it, yes. But you can't judge the game until you play a finished retail version. Of course, you could condemn it for being different.

That's personal opinion, indeed. Although I found DA slightly disappointing, it was still a quality game with great graphics, a more than decent score, familiar, well executed SC gameplay combined with a few pleasant novelties like the JBA missions and the trust meter. At least, that's my opinion.

You're one of the few people who could even play the game then, ya? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Lol might have something to do with the fact that I played it on 360. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
I hear the PC version pretty much requires you to pray before you start playing...

There were also missing story elements, insulting multiplayer mode, and a trust meter system that seemed way too....inconsequential. It was like "Perform action X, 5 points are added to JBA trust meter" and "Do not allow trust meter to reach zero". THere were only a few actual story line elements that had things to do with the meter. It just felt tacked on as a way to add "difficulty" (Which it really failed at).

Although I am looking forward to this game, I'm not looking forward to it as mouch as i thought I would be after hearing about the new style of gameplay, it's just not the same Splinter Cell.
I enjoyed it how it was and i don't think the game style needed to be change,(if it aint broke don't fix it). But I will still purchase this games, hopefully it will be abit similar to the gameplay in the games before

I only complain because it's not SC, not because it's/will be a bad game. Actually it may turn outto be pretty cool
