Cant Load the patch

no problemo here...redownload patch.Make sure you haven't editted anything..

you do have legal version?

yes totaly legal, and i dont have any probs playing it online, i have downloaded the patch many times from many different locations, but still get the same message. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

Try putting the patch in the system folder and insatll it there.. if u have't done it.

Thanks I tried that but still no luck, is there any way of keeping the progress i have made in the game so far (a file or folder sonwhere)?. cause i may go for a re-install, but i dont want to start the game from scratch again.

Jungle..I get the EXACT same system error notation when I try to run the patch.have downloaded time after time..tried to install..same darn thing..cant get it to work...and..also.the dreaded "install" problem that requires the cd to spin and spin for ten minutes..then it installs..but the kicker is..when I want to play the game again after exiting to windows..the cd spins and spins..just like before..and Im not about to go through that every time I want to play the game..it looks like this game is a HUGE disappontment for just about everyone here..all lI see is constant messages re play and install..and nothing postive about the game..IS there ANYTHING positive about this game? Close to 50 dollars wasted..with absolutely nothing to show for it except a box and some shiny coasters....this has to be the WORST gaming experience I've ever had..and there have been pretty bad ones..I wish I had something postive to say about the game..IF and WHEN they get the bugs fixed to the point that we can begin to "flesh out" the gameplay.that will be another story

okay..post full system specs and what patch are you trying to install?

any virtual drive software installed?

i have the same problem, i tried to reinstall, didnt work, and the single player runs fine. i can acces the internet area but it wont let me patch to 1.2 or 1.3. my specs are:

amd sempron 2800 2gigaherz

256 mb radeon 9550 video card

1 gb of ddr ram

40 gig harddrive and a 16x dvd rom
