hey everyone, i just bought the settlers 4 from Direct2drive.com and when i download the patch, i get a message saying please insert the cd. well obviously the patch replacs the .exe file so that the crack that came with the game i downloaded isn't there anymore... i could use some help here since i payed $40 bucks for it http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Ask for a refund theres no way you will ever get the game to work,many before you have tried and failed.You should have a 30 day refund policy most of these sites do.The version these sites are using is way too old to patch.You paid $40 for something that will never work for 14.1061 USD or 18.6066 AUD depending where your from you can buy the original game with a CD and a serial number to allow you to play online.
