i got a Pent II 280 Mhz, 287 SDRam, Geforce II 64 Mb 440mx,
yes i know this set up sucks but hey i had it since 1997 (back than it was the king http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif )

anyways i just bought Ghost Recon Gold, i install ghost recon and around 12% sometimes 51% it says insert cd 0 for data3.cab or something like that i try everything i know and its not working ?! and i know even know where the recipt gone, i'm still trying to find it, i made sure that the cd is not scratch, my cd runs in 16X, or so it says i make it run at quati or more speed , let window read ahead for data. but still not working... i think its because of the speed of the computer but i run older games fine... and i ran the ghosr recon demo and it ran fine... so what is going on? i run directX 8.1b. this force me to download the cracked version of ghost recon on kazaa which is fun... but i still want to install the freaking game when i payed 40$ for it jeezz and yes i ran the crack version of ghost recon fine... so i don't know what is going on.

Farcus,
This is from the tech support FAQ:
"Q: During the install of the game, I recieved an error message that said, Disk 0 or Data3.cab is missing"

A: This message is caused by one of two things. Either your CD-ROM drive is not able to read through the copy protection on the disk, or the disk has been damaged in some way. Try contacting the drive's manufacturer for a firmware update for your CD-ROM drive. Note that some CD-RW drives will not be able to install the game. Otherwise, try exchanging the disk with your retailer, or with us."

From the age of your computer, I think it is your CD-ROM drive causing the trouble. Try the firmware update thingy from the drives manufacturer.
