Can't start the game, my option is to reinstall the game and get the error after 10 minutes again and won't be able to start again.
now you guys found any solution?
It's NOT the -runaway for me no help with that.
The error just pops up after some minutes of multiplay and gaming is no more until reinstall and the same game.

SOMEONE HAS TO DO SOMETHING.
This game is just too great to be thrown out by such a pitty error!
Come on guys no solution for this?
There has to be one, so many people have it!

I'm getting the same damn error:
OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: GenuineIntel PentiumPro-class processor @ 2402 MHz with 2046MB RAM
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 Ultra (6218)
General protection fault!
History: ClientTick <- UGameEngine::Tick <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop
and once I press ok, I get a pop up windows that at the top right says "no update found", along with a technical log which says:
Trying to download version file from http://rspatches.ubi.com/versions.cab to C:\DOCUME~1\ZIGGY\LOCALS~1\Temp\ubiA.tmp.
Succesfully downloaded version file.
No update was found for current targets: (ravenshield, englishuk, 1.60.412)
