I have learned my lesson and turned off sync....but has anyone found a way of retrieving the one's Ubi lost?

Gone for good I'm afraid. It wouldn't be bad if Ubisoft would actually "synch" saved games (as in check timestamps and always keep the latest. Instead their system is "remotely wipe and overwrite", which of course isn't a "synch" at all.

I lost a day's worth of patrols yesterday because of that stupid system.

So in order to loose any more saved games I need to turn off sync right? This is so annoying...

I'm not sure if Ubisoft ever fixed the issues with overwriting saved games, and they certainly won't bother doing so now. It's really best to just turn off online saves entirely. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
