can't install the game??

I've just uninstalled assassins creed, Because it would not open, Now, When i put the disk in, nothing happens, any clues to how i get it to reinstall??

Is your CD/DVD-ROM drive working properly ?? Can it read the game disk, as well as other disks ?

Can you browse the Game disk contents ? Does your game DVD contain any dirt/scratch ? You can also try the game disk on any other Computer/laptop, if you have. This will give an idea, as whether the game disk is damaged or not.....
